Why do we publish this privacy statement?

We do ask for personal information from you so that we can help you in the best possible way. What information we ask for and what we use it for you can read below. You also find out what your rights are, who has access to your data and how long we store your data.

Processing of personal data

What is personal data? Personal data are details that tell something about you or which we can connect to you. Personal data is also the data we receive from you as a representative of our business clients.

What is processing?

So basically everything you do regarding to the use of personal data.
If you or your firm becomes a client, we will process personal data (name, phone number, email adress, postal address, banking account (because of payments) etc.) We process your data in a careful manner and in accordance with the rules laid down by the law.

What do we use your data for?

We use your data to execute the contract we (will) have with you or your company, to comply with the law and to conduct marketing activities. We use personal data to provide information about our services. And naturally we want to address you personally when we send you mail. As well as use the correct (email) address. The legal grounds used to process your data are the execution of a contract, legal obligations, and legitimate interest of our company (for example in case of direct marketing). If you are not a customer of our company and are not in the process of becoming one we will not use personal data to contact you.

Sharing of your data with third parties

Strict rules apply for sharing personal data. It goes without saying that we comply with those. In principle, we do not share your data with other parties. We do that only if there is good reason to do so, or we are required to do so. Sometimes we are required by a contract or regulations to share your data with another party or organisation. Our external auditor may view your personal data when checking our financial administration as required by law. The court can also order us to provide data. We use an external email provider. Other than that storage does not take place in the cloud or outside our own servers.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep the data as long as necessary for the purpose for which we use your data. And for as long as the law obligates us to store your data. In our case this means we will delete your data 7 years after the last contact because of the tax laws in the Netherlands.

If you would like to know what personal data we have from you, please contact van Spaandonk & Koks. If you find that the information we have on you is not correct, let us know. Your data will then be corrected. If we do not need your information any longer because of the end of the contract (and the end of legal retention periods) we will destroy the data.

On our website you cannot leave your personal data. Our site does not use any cookies. So no functional, analytical, marketing or third party cookies. We do not need the use of those in our line of business and because we only collect as little personal data as possible cookies have not been installed. Our website does also not use any social media plugins or other tracking techniques.

We do not make use of automated decision making and do not use your data for profiling.

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and take appropriate measures to make sure abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification are prevented using current market standards.
